Usually a 7 or 8? Choose 7–7.5 or 8–8.5. Inside the shoe you'll see the EU number (a US 7–7.5 is marked 38). That's normal, it's the same size.

Tie them snug. The ties are what hold the shoe on, so knot them firmly for dancing. Tuck the ends into the wrap so they don't trail.
